About Valley of Miracles Academy
A Christ-centred school in Waterfalls, Harare, built on the belief that every child has value and is worth investing in.
A valley is not the end of the journey
Our name says what we believe. A difficult start is not the end of a child's story. A valley may be a low place, but it is also where things grow.
With faith, education and a community behind them, children can rise past where they started. That belief shapes how we teach, how we play and how we worship.
We work inside this community, not at a distance from it. We know what families here are up against, and we keep parents and guardians close to how their children are doing.
Our vision
A community where no capable child loses their place at school because the money ran out.
Our mission
To bring sponsors, the school, parents and the wider community into one honest partnership, so that vulnerable children get a quality Christian education, the materials to learn with, and the support to keep going.
Christian education, for the whole child
Faith is not a subject on the timetable here. It is the ground everything else is built on.
What shapes our school
- Christian values: discipline, integrity, compassion, responsibility and respect
- Structured teaching, real learner support and regular assessment
- Academic, emotional and personal support for every learner
- A community that understands what families here are actually dealing with
